Zone 6 Golden at the 2023 BC Games

Just under 1300 participants from across the province came together in Greater Vernon for the BC Winter Games March 23-26. The athletes, coaches, and officials, represent 84 of 87 provincial constituencies and came from 122 communities.

Over the three action-packed days that began with an opening ceremony and included nearly 16,000 meals served, 900 medals awarded at 135 medal presentations, and over 300 hours of competition across a dozen venues.

Over 1400 volunteers gave their time and energy to stage these Games that were postponed from February 2022 to be held during spring break this year.

Congratulations to all of the athletes, family members and friends who came to Lavington to make these a great games for everyone.
