Wheelchair Basketball Featured at the NBA Big Tour Event in Metrotown

Our athletes hit the 'big leagues' this weekend when they promoted wheelchair basketball at the NBA Big Tour event in Metrotown in Burnaby. The NBA Big Tour is a free interactive basketball festival that travels across Canada and offers basketball demos by NBA players, autograph sessions, fun games and prizes.

Jack Kosterman, Richard Peter, Kevin Bowie and Amanda Yan suited up and played a two-on-two demo at the basketball festival, which drew big crowds. After, Amanda was "attacked" by the Toronto Raptors mascot and the athletes took time to answer questions and pose for photos.
