Profits of New Children's Book To Go To Adaptive Programs in Prince George

September 29, 2014

Looking for a Christmas present for a child in your life? Want to give back to BC Wheelchair Basketball Society and help children with mobility challenges in the Prince George area to get active? Pick up a copy of "The X-Tails Ski At Spider Ridge" by L.A. Fielding.

The book, which tackles issues of disability, features a character who uses a sit-ski. Fifty percent of all royalties will go to help purchase sports wheelchairs and other adaptive equipment to make sure that all children can get physically active!

Thank you to L.A. Fielding for supporting our programs and to Nancy Harris for inspiring this tale.
