New Wheelchair Basketball Program To Be Offered in Port Moody

Whatever your age, disability or experience level, here's a great opportunity to play wheelchair basketball this Fall. The Port Moody Recreation Center and BCWBS will be offering a joint wheelchair basketball program at the Port Moody Rec Center starting September 16th. This program will take the place of the Tim Frick City League, which is currently looking for a new home for the Fall season.

Port Moody Wheelchair Basketball Program

Port Moody Recreation Centre – 300 Ioco Road, Port Moody

Session 1:         Mondays, Sept 16 – Oct 28 (6 sessions)

Session 2:         Mondays, Nov 4 – Dec 16 (6 sessions)

Registration:      Please register with the City

Registration Fee:              $60/6 session

Age:                 13+

The program includes skill development led by a coach and games with a referee.
Limited number of sport wheelchairs are available to share.
