Kids With Disabilities Shine At Let's Play Day

October 3, 2013

It may have been a rainy Sunday afternoon outside, but the children with disabilities and their siblings, family and support workers lit up the Mount Pleasant Community Center with their enthusiasm. Kids between age 3 and 12 had a chance to try a variety of wheelchair sports, including boccia, tag, floor hockey, relay races and much more. Parents and siblings even hopped in their chairs to join in the fun.

Thanks to everyone who came out, and to Nadine for ensuring that everything ran smoothly and the kids had a blast.
