Help us put the "Fun" in Fundraiser At HOOPFEST!

April 10, 2015

It's time for our most exciting fundraiser! On May 21st, HOOPFEST returns and we need your help to make it the best one ever. We've already got great partners like Steamworks Brewery, Blasted Church, Vancouver TSN Radio, CHIMP, and Fortius Sport & Health on board. Community groups and organizations -- including firefighters, police, and members of the disability community -- have put in teams and are ready to try wheelchair basketball!

All that's missing is you!

But first, check out this awesome video explaining HOOPFEST made by wheelchair basketball athlete and HOOPFEST participant Arnold. Great work Arnold!

How you can help

Put in a team: We're still looking for teams to compete in HOOPFEST. Grab your friends, neighbours, and/or coworkers and put together a team, then raise $1200 as a group. Thanks to CHIMP, you'll have a variety on online tools at your disposal to make fundraising easy. Remember: no wheelchair basketball experience is required. You provide the enthusiasm and our coaches will show you how it's done! To get involved, contact Sian Blyth at sian@bcwbs.ca or 604-333-3531.

Donate to an existing team: Can't make it to HOOPFEST? Give our existing teams a boost with a donation. You'll get a tax receipt for any donations over $10. To donate, click here.

Donate an item or be a sponsor: HOOPFEST is a great way to showcase your business. We're always looking for sponsors, partners and silent auction donations. Got a creative way to get involved? We'd love to hear it! To get involved, contact Sian Blyth at sian@bcwbs.ca or 604-333-3531.

Thanks for your support of HOOPFEST! We'll see you on the court!
