Exciting Kick-Off of Division 2 League at Kelowna Tournament

October 18, 2011

This past weekend (October 15 & 16), Okanagan Thunder hosted a "season kick-off" BC-CWBL Division 2 tournament at Constable Neil Bruce Middle School in Kelowna.

The tournament saw Victoria come away undefeated. Tacoma was a close second. The most competitive game was the Victoria vs. Tacoma game where Jose from Tacoma dazzled with his speed. Victoria was a well-balanced team with everyone able to add points.

Kamloops young Jack Kosterman came away with 26 points in the final game against the Okanagan Thunder. Bryan Shore knocked down several one-arm bombs. Makiko guided and encouraged her Breakers team to a good game against Victoria with Erin leading the way in scoring.
