Douglas College Royals Finish Fifth at the 2013 CWBL Open Finals

The Douglas College Royals finished fifth at the 2013 CWBL Open Finals this weekend in Montreal, Quebec.

The team included:
Kevin Bowie - Vancouver
Justin Johnson - Langley
Deion Green - Victoria
Ross MacDonald - Burnaby
Loren Pearson - Victoria
Bryan Shore - Kelowna
Erik Vliegenthart - Kamloops
Amanda Yan - Burnaby

The Royals started strong with a win against Club 99, before losing to Quebec. Though the team rallied with a win against Alberta, it wasn’t enough to get into the semi-finals and the team finished fifth.
