Comox Program Keeps Growing

Comox Valley Wheelchair Basketball just keeps growing since its start.

In addition to their successful regular practices, Comox has hosted "Salish Sea Hoopfest" on March 18, inviting Powell River Ravens as well as Nanaimo Wheelchair Basketball Club. The event was a big success with 23 athletes participating plus some spectators cheering for them! Even a radio coverage was provided by 97.3 "The Eagle"!

The club had also hosted a  Have-a-Go day in February, introducing both wheelchair basketball and wheelchair rugby. 4 new participants from this event joined the club again in the Hoopfest.
