Canada Set to Take on the World at 2010 World Wheelchair Basketball Championships

BC Wheelchair Basketball wishes the best of luck to both the Men's and Women's Canadian Wheelchair Basketball Teams at the 2010 World Wheelchair Basketball Championships in England. BC is proud to be represented by athletes Janet McLachlan, Nancy Lafleche, Elisha Williams, Jessica Vliegenthart, Marni Abbott-Peter and Assistant Coach Trish Nicholson for the women and athletes Ross MacDonald, Robert Hedges, and Richard Peter on the men's side.

The tournament will see 12 men’s and 10 women’s teams compete in the most important and biggest wheelchair basketball event before the London 2012 Paralympic Games.

The tournament will run from Wednesday 7th July to Saturday 17th July, at the National Indoor Arena, Birmingham.
