BC- CWBL Victoria Results January 20/21 2018!

January 23, 2018

Despite some windy and cool weather, this past weekend we had our best turnout at our Victoria BC-CWBL tournament. We had games at PISE (Pacific Institute for Sport Excellence) on Saturday and at Spectrum Community School on Sunday. Thank-you to all teams for coming out and making our third tournament another success; Tacoma Titans (4-1), Victoria Chargers (3-1), Vancouver Classics (3-1), Langley Gold Rush (2-3), Kamloops Bull-Dawgs (1-4), and Vancouver Cable Cars (1-4). Here are the game scores:

Saturday, Jan 20

Sunday, Jan 21

On Saturday, we once again ran our Tier 2 games. We played some Wheelchair Floorball to warm-up and then had some of our Tier 1 athletes come out to assist and give tips and run drills and share their knowledge. Athletes from the island and also the lower mainland drove in for this great experience! Shout-out to Megan from the Tacoma Titans for helping to run the session and provide lots of coaching and guidance during the Tier 2 program.

Thanks to everyone for coming out and especially friends, family, and volunteers for making this another awesome weekend of wheelchair basketball!
