BC Breakers Festival on March 21/22 - Schedule Updated

BCWBS is hosting the BC Breakers Festival at Douglas College in New Westminster on March 21/22. The event is open to all girls and women, able bodied or with a physical disability, including new players and first timers.

The event features skills development sessions and fun 3 on 3 games while BC Breakers are competing against two teams from Alberta, Calgary Rollers and Edmonton Inferno. A sport wheelchair can be provided upon request. Feel free to attend any portion of the weekend that you are available for.

What: BC Breakers Festival – Women’s Wheelchair Basketball Games & Skills Development
Where: Douglas College, 700 Royal Avenue New Westminster, BC
When: March 21 & 22, from 9am-4pm each day
Who: Female individuals with or without physical disability - no expreince required
*For a quality sport experience, you must be able to push a manual wheelchair independently and to follow a sequenc of instruction in a group environment
Cost: $5.00 for BCWBS Members (Lunch included)
