Athlete Wheeling 22K at the 2016 Scotiabank Charity Challenge

On Sunday June 26th 2016 BC Wheelchair Basketball Society will be participating in the annual Scotiabank Charity Challenge. While the majority of the team opted for the 5K race, Trevor Flynn is challenging himself to wheel the Half-Marathon.

Trevor is a current athlete and dedicated volunteer at BC Wheelchair Basketball. Program coordinator Nadine Barbisan reflects, “Trevor is a regular at Thursday night drop-in and is always willing to help us out at events when we need an extra hand” she adds, “it’s no surprise that he has taken on this challenge”.
