2023 Junior Challenge Success!

Athletes from 4 BC Games zones participated in the 2023 Junior Challenge. Saturday and Sunday
November 11 & 12.

Mornings were spent on learning and improving skills and rules of the game. During the sfternoons included a 4 team round robin 3X3 tournament with playoffs and very exciting games in the Finals. Athletes also played some modified 5x5 games to end each afternoon. Loads of fun was had by all!

Team awards were not presented however everyone was recognized with a BCWBS Award:
--Hattie Booth – Shot of the day,( incredible 3 point hook shot on the buzzer) & came from furthest away
--Ian Peter – Super speedy
--Elena Wiens – Top Rookie, female
--Dallas Pauloski – Top Rookie, male
--Caden Hyde – Most Improved
--Daniel Granger – sharp shooter
--Aimin Aldom – Most Inquisitive
--Ben Garrett – Awesome veteran mentor/coach
--Greg Smart – Best Haircut
--Brandon Twaites – Top Communicator
--Lachlan Sandford – TrueSport – Great Teammate
--Lucas Van Herk – Give and Go, great passing & cuts
--Keaton MacEachern – Leadership/Playmaker
