The Canadian Wheelchair Basketball League (CWBL) Women’s National Championship, presented by Grosso Hooper Law, takes place annually when the top competitive women’s club teams in the country compete for the national title. The tournament has taken place each year since 1990.
The tournament is open to all eligible CWBL women’s teams in Canada. Teams that wish to compete at the CWBL Women’s National Championship must notify the national office of their intent to participate by contacting Wheelchair Basketball Canada.
2022 CWBL Women’s National Championship
The 2022 Canadian Wheelchair Basketball League (CWBL) Women’s National Championship will take place from April 8-10 at the Richmond Olympic Oval in Richmond, B.C. The tournament is hosted by B.C. Wheelchair Basketball Society.
2022 will feature a 5x5 National Championship Division and fun Festival Events!
As part of the Women's Festival we will be hosting a weekend full of skills, drills and fun WOW! Women's & Girls Only Wheelchair Basketball events, and a recreational 3x3 tournament.
