Introduction to Performance Camp

Introduction to Performance Camp:

The BCWBS is inviting all wheelchair basketball players from across the province to attend an Introduction to Performance Camp on November 1st and 2nd, 2025.

You should attend this camp if you are:

• a BCWBS targeted athletes,
• interested in being included in the targeted athlete pool and playing for one of our provincial teams in the future, or
• playing in BCWBL and looking to improve your wheelchair basketball knowledge  

This camp will include:

• Technical Skill Acquisition
• Basic Tactical Elements
• Physical Testing
• Education Sessions
• Basic Athlete Evaluations for non-targeted attendees.

Goals: to provide an opportunity for skill development across all athlete skill levels

Date: Nov 1 and 2, 2025

Time: 9:30am until 3:30pm both days

Venue: Richmond Olympic Oval - 6111River Rd, Richmond

Ages: 16+ (Exceptions may be considered on a case by case basis so please email Adam to enquire.)

Fees: $10 (Membership is required, Free for targeted athletes- please select "cheque" as the payment method if this applies to you to get the fee waived)

Registration & Deadline: Register via RAMP by October 27, 2025

Travel Support:
A limited travel subsidy is available for this event. Carpooling and room sharing are strongly encouraged where safe and feasible.

Participants travelling by ferry and looking for travel support must apply for ferry vouchers from here.
*Applications must be submitted at least 10 business days (between and including Monday to Friday, not including weekends and public holidays) before the first day of travel.
