Event Information
Wheelchair Basketball is one of the many sports participating in the Canada Winter Games, a national multi-sport competition for Canadian youth. These games take place every 4 years in rotating cities across Canada. A provincial/territorial team can include a maximum of 12 athletes in the sport of wheelchair basketball, male or female. Eligible athletes competing in wheelchair basketball at the Canada Games are 24 years of age or under, born Jan. 1, 1987 or later. The team is supported by 2 coaches and 1 manager.
Team BC is gearing up for the 2011 Canada Winter Games in Halifax, Nova Scotia taking place February 11-27, 2001.
