Membership
Membership is open to any individual, organization or club interested in wheelchair basketball. BCWBS has Athlete, Coach, Supporter, and Junior (under 19) membership categories. Membership dues are collected annually.

The benefits of BC Wheelchair Basketball Society Membership include:
Insurance
BCWBS provides insurance coverage for individual members. This coverage includes general accident and third party liability and covers all training and competition activities authorized by BCWBS and your club. Directors' Liability Insurance for clubs is also included.
Newsletter
Members receive issues of The 'Net' Work Newsletter three times per year (email or hard copy), keeping them informed and up-to-date on wheelchair basketball programs, current events, tournaments, and other wheelchair basketball news from around the Province. Members are encouraged to contribute to these publications.
Special Mailings
Members receive information on all BCWBS programs, camps and clinics, workshops, and special events.
Access to Special Programs
Members are given consideration for Provincial Team Programs (athletes and coaches), Coaching & Officials Education, and the Wheelchair Loan Program.
Access to Special Funding
Members are given consideration for the Athlete Assistance Program (athletes), BCWBS Grant Program, Travel Subsidy, National Team Assessment Support and Provincial Team Funding. Funding support is also provided for Coaching and Officials education and development.
Access to Resources
BC Wheelchair Basketball has a resource library available to all members.
Annual General Meeting
All members 19 and older have full voting privileges at the BCWBS Annual General Meeting.
